"As your personal physician I am dedicated to provide
you with high quality, comprehensive, compassionate
medical care."  –Adèle Gratton, M.D.

Dr. Adèle Gratton graduated (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa's medical school in 1978, a goal that she set for herself as a teenager.  As a medical student she found that nearly every time she was exposed to a new branch of medicine that it became her favourite to the point where she excelled in several of them and won distinction accordingly.  At graduation she was recognized by her peers as one of two from their medical class to be invited to join Alpha Omega Alpha, the North American honour medical society.

Dr. Gratton's broad interest in medicine led her to choose a mixed internship when admitted to McGill University's medical program at the Montreal General Hospital.  At the Montreal General she demonstrated a strong aptitude for Radiation Oncology and was accepted into McGill's Radiation Oncology residency program following her internship.  At this time Dr. Gratton had also applied and was accepted for a residency in Radiation Oncology in the University of Toronto's program at Toronto's Princess Margaret Hospital.

Dr. Gratton found that her success in a variety of disciplines at medical school and as an intern made becoming a general practitioner a natural decision for her and one that she has never regretted.  Variety is at the heart of front line health care where Dr. Gratton feels fulfilled and privileged to help her patients with their most important concerns —their health and well-being.
